I live in a smallish (population 8000) town in Nova Scotia Canada. I am a full-time working Mom & Wife. I am addicted to nail polish! My addiction started almost a year ago when I decided to take off my gel nails (which I had been wearing for more than a year). I noticed my gel nails had been lifting a lot between fills and was pretty sure it was because my nails were in bad shape. I was right. Over the last year I've been trying to get my nails back in shape and pretty much started wearing polish to camouflage the state of my nails after my gels came off. Then, something awesome happened. I discovered I really
I've amassed quite a collection of polishes considering I've only been collecting seriously for about the last 6-8 months. At some point I'll show them all to you!
My goal with this blog is simply to share my passion with all of you. I want to share my swatches, techniques, design ideas, amazing finds, awesome tools and more. Keep in mind that I have a hard time finding some of the more popular polish brands because of my location. I've resorted to ordering online and eBay for most of my finds. I can easily get drugstore brands such as Sally Hansen, Revlon and Gosh, but have to order online for brands like China Glaze, Zoya & Orly.
I'm working on a good photo setup for product photos and swatches and hope to have my first post of my most recent haul with swatches in the next few days to a week. Please be patient with me while I get my feet wet with the world of blogging :)
Here are some things I'm working on and will have posts of in the next little while:
- I'm building my own nail polish wall rack!
- I have a few new hauls to share with you (including one I'm planning on this weekend when we go away to a place with a Sally Beauty!)
- I'm working on swatching my entire collection on nail wheels
- I've just discovered Fimo canes and will be working on getting those cut and organized
I know reading an entirely text based blog isn't really very interesting, but please hang in there. This WILL get more interesting. I promise!
Until next time......
